Animal Control
Enforces county ordinances and state statutes as they apply to domestic animals; rabies control and vaccination; educational programs; support for animals; works to stop cruelty to animals. Partners with NC State Wildlife Agency, Foothills Humane Society, veterinarians and residents. All dogs, cats, and ferrets 4 months and older MUST be vaccinated for rabies.
