Pickleball
Polk County Recreation hosts a few different pickleball groups that meet several times a week.
If you are new to the area and wish to join a group, call us and we will put you in touch with the groups' contacts. If we have enough interest, we can start another pod.Please call (828) 894-8199 for court availability or more information.
Pickleball is similar to tennis but played on a smaller court with paddles and whiffle balls. Here is a link to the basic pickleball rules and to more information about the sport:
