This is a significant project for our community and we would love to hear from you.

Polk County Government would like to thank the Polk County Community Foundation for their generous grant towards the feasibility study for the potential YMCA in our area. The foundation’s mission to support charitable initiatives, administer planned giving programs, steward entrusted funds responsibly, and identify community needs and solutions aligns perfectly with our aspirations to build a YMCA in Polk County. Thank you, PCCF, for joining us and the YMCA of Greater Spartanburg in this first step to bringing a valuable resource to our community that will enhance the quality of life for our residents for generations to come.

The Polk County Board of Commissioners typically meets on the first and third Monday at 5:00 pm. The meetings are open to the public
and are held on the second floor of the
Womack Building, 40 Courthouse Street in Columbus.
